These ratings were calculated prior to the start of the SBHL/NFL Season. The Week 1 rankings were calculated with the day before the start of the season with all injury news and player matchups.

With the start of the 2023 season comes a blank slate for all of the SBHL teams. Some contract disputes and some pre-season injuries changed the Week 1 power rankings from the pre-season outlook.

1. Ronnie's Squad (▲1)

Looking like the front-runner that they are, Ronnie's Squad ascends to the throne of the number 1 position for the Week 1 Power Rankings. No major injuries or hold outs lead to Ronnie's Squad claiming the number 1 spot.

2. Cold Hearted Krispies (▲2)

Moving through the pre-season unscathed by injuries or bad news, CHK rises up our rankings as the number 2.

3. Horsedick boy'z (▼2)

The Horsedick boy'z enter Week 1 at number 3 mostly due to projected points and matchups. HDB is still an SBHL favorite to exit the week with a win.

4. SINCERE's Team (▲5)

SINCERE's Team would not stay in the lower half of the Top 10 power rankings for very long, and the Week 1 projection shows that. With a tough Week 1, ST will have to battle division rival Cold Hearted Krispies.

5. ThatManAgain.... (▼2)

ThatManAgain.... started this season in the Top 3 of our Power Rankings, but without their star running back (Jonathan Taylor) out for the first 4 games, we had to drop them down to number 5.

6. The 37th Chamber ◄►

No movement here with The 37th Chamber as only good news (Javonte Williams looking good) has graced the news feed of 37C.

7. Shawn Brady (▼2)

Shawn Brady couldn't stay in the Top 5 of our Power Rankings, mostly due to the weak WR core and the uncertainty of the role RB D'Andre Swift will have.

8. SexySandwich (▼1)

SexySandwich did nothing wrong, but news of a potential injury to TE Darren Waller made us drop them one spot to number 8.

9. Julio Think You Are? I Am! (▼1)

Julio Think You Are? I Am! is going in to the first quarter of the season without QB Kyler Murray or star WR Cooper Kupp. A strong squad otherwise, we look at a slow start for JTYAIA.

10. Team_MAGA (▲6)

Team_MAGA got some good news for their receiver core in Week 3 of the pre-season, Commanders WR Terry McLaurin might be dealing with turf-toe, which increases the outlook of TM WR Jahan Dotson.

11. The Gold Standard (▼1)

Although The Gold Standard shipped off star WR Tyreek Hill, they improved their QB room, and have three viable starters for week 1 (Tua Tagovailoa, Brock Purdy & CJ Stroud.)

12. 21 Cabbage (▲3)

21 Cabbage's 2023 season looks to start off with one of the hardest strength of schedule for the first 3 weeks, taking on division opponents Shawn Brady, Julio Think You Are? I Am! and Ronnie's Squad. This will definitely be a building year for them, but as they showed last year, a few early wins can put them in the running while the other three teams take each other out and keep this division close.

13. Subject To Change (▲1)

Returning champs Subject To Change was dealt a heavy blow with WR Jerry Jeudy and TE Travis Kelce starting week 1 with injuries. Being the defending champs, STC deserved a little more respect and we had to bump them up to #13.

14. Untouchables (▼3)

Newcomer Untouchables will start their 2023 campaign with one of the more closer matches in projection as they face The Gold Standard. Projections only matter so much in fantasy football, it will be up to UTCH to capitalize on their week 1 matchup to start the season off on the right foot.

15. JonLegends (▼3)

JonLegends looked to add some firepower with the additions of RB Dalvin Cook, RB Jahmyr Gibbs and WR Rashee Rice, but will that be enough to take on a strong The 37th Chamber at 100% health?

16. I'll Fuck Your Dad (▼3)

IFYD will be leveraging the rookies they took in the 2023 SBHL Rookie Draft to try to best Team_MAGA. We don't expect much from IFYD with the unproven talent, but if these bets turn out to be fruitful IFYD will have a strong team by the end of the season.
