2022 Week 2 Power Rankings

1. Ronnie's Squad

Week 1 ranking: 1  ◄►

For the 2nd consecutive week, Ronnie's Squad is #1 in our Power Rankings. A dominant performance, putting up a league-high 181.92 points, left no doubt they deserve to be recognized as the best team. The lack of a traditional RB1 has not hindered Ronnie's Squad through 2 weeks, having 3 players putting up 30+ point performances. With an easy game next week against #15 Shawn Brady, we don't see how Ronnie's Squad relinquishes the #1 spot in Week 3.

2. SINCERE's Team

Week 1 ranking: 2 ◄►

SINCERE's Team has another strong performance putting up a division-high 118.08 points. SINCERE's Team was led by last year's QB acquisition Josh Allen. 118 points wasn't the best score this week, but it would have won against 50% of the league. The 129.8 point average through 2 weeks is 3rd best in the SBHL.

3. Julio Think You Are? I Am!

Week 1 ranking: 7 (▲4)

Julio Think You Are? I Am! rebounded nicely after a rough Week 1. Putting up a season-high 180.58 points, if JTYAIA would have played their Week 1 opponent (Ronnie's Squad) they would have been winless through 2 weeks. Luckily, they faced Shawn Brady who has had one of the worst starts in the SBHL in 2022.

4. Horsedick boy'z

Week 1 ranking: 4 ◄►

Horsedick boy'z stays undefeated through 2 weeks, but don't make up any ground in our power rankings. Primarily due to the fact that HDB has the 4th best average PPG. With only Lamar Jackson and Clyde Edwards-Helaire eclipsing their projection, they only beat expansion team I'll Fuck Your Dad by 10 points. HDB projected a slow start, and with the injuries to key players, they are right. Hopefully that turns around in the coming weeks.

5. The 37th Chamber

Week 1 ranking: 10 (▲5)

For the second straight week, The 37th Chamber climbs the rankings, this time to break the Top 5. The 37th Chamber faced JonLegends which didn't really matter, as 37C scored the 4th most points in Week 2. Although 37C looked to forward to 2023 in the pre-season, the production from their roster might prove that with a few upgrades 37C can become a contender in 2022.

6. TD Do You Love Me

Week 1 ranking: 8 (▲2)

TD Do You Love Me rebounds after a huge drop in last week's rank. With consistent play from the entire lineup, TDDYLM shows why they can make a case to be in the Top 5. TDDYLM scores above the league average and with a good Week 3, might challenge The 37th Chamber for their spot in next week's power rankings.

7. Team_MAGA

Week 1 ranking: 12 (▲5)

The first few weeks of Power Rankings are highly volatile, as we saw Team_MAGA go from 11 to 12 to now 7. Although Team_MAGA has a loss (from Week 1), they have been putting up reliable points and are in the top half of the league for Points Per Game. With production from veterans and rookies, TM looks like a solid team.

8. Subject to Change

Week 1 ranking: 6 (▼2)

This one is surprising, Subject to Change is undefeated but dropped 2 spots to #8. This is mostly due to some injuries and a low average points per game. With a win next week, against division rival and #5 in our power rankings (The 37th Chamber) Subject to Change will make a good case to ascend the ranks again.

9. ThatManAgain...

Week 1 ranking: 3  (▼6)

With a second straight week of poor performance, this time resulting in a loss, we had to drop ThatManAgain.... down a few more spots. Battling through injuries, defending champ TMA, should be able to reclaim a higher rank when at full-strength. ThatManAgain... is now in the lower half of the league for average points per game.

10. SexySandwich

Week 1 ranking: 5 (▼5)

SexySandwich drops down out of the Top 5, to the lowest position in the Top 10. On paper SS's roster looks good, actual production is the issue. Averaging 98.7 PPG, that places him at 8th best in the SBHL, although the league average is 105.51. With Trey Lance going down in SF, one of Jimmy G's favorite targets (Brandon Aiyuk) should increase in usage, hopefully adding to SS's weekly score.

11. I'll Fuck Your Dad

Week 1 ranking: 16 (▲5)

A huge jump from #16, IFYD has a strong performance, almost beating #4 HDB. With some good good production from their QB, Aaron Rodgers, and the bottom half of their roster, IFYD put up 110 points, making them the highest averaging expansion team through 2 weeks.

12. AbeFroman

Week 1 ranking: 9 (▼3)

AbeFroman had a tough week, where Ryan Tannehill scored negative points. There wasn't much to be done, as AbeFroman took on the league's #1, Ronnie's Squad, and no team outscored RS. Averaging the 2nd worst in the SBHL, but still holding a win from week 1, we are going to keep AF at #12.

13. BUE

Week 1 ranking: 11 (▼2)

Bue scored 85 points, and went up against #2 SINCERE's Team in Week 2. Two goose eggs (one at TE and one at WR) are the reason for the low score. This week Bue didn't leave any points on the bench, so there was nothing that could be done to salvage the week.

14. The Gold Standard

Week 1 ranking: 15 (▲1)

The Gold Standard had better Week 2 than they had for Week 1. Scoring 100 points, with 2 players putting up 30-spots, we decided to move them up from #15 to #14. TGS almost was able to secure a win against TD Do You Love Me, if only TGS started Tua Tagovailoa over Trey Lance. Without the Lance injury, TGS would have probably won.

15. Shawn Brady

Week 1 ranking: 14 (▼1)

Shawn Brady yet again could not break 90 points, this week due to a 0 spot from WR Parris Campbell. Without any drastic change, the commissioner might go winless this whole season.

16. JonLegends

Week 1 ranking: 13 (▼3)

JonLegends had the worst week record in SBHL history, putting up 38.48 points. The previous record was held by The 37th Chamber, who had a game where they only scored 50.08 points during the 2020 season. JonLegends only had 2 0-spots (which isn't unheard of), but not a single starting player producing a double-digit effort led to the 38 point try. JonLegends left 48 points on the bench this week.
