2022 Week 1 Power Rankings

1. Ronnie's Squad

With the most points scored, Ronnie's Squad has taken over the top spot in the SBHL Power Rankings. Losing Eli Mitchell and relying on Cam Akers who put up a 0 in Week 1 and Nyheim Hines who is the RB2 on his team, might be the Achilles Heel for Ronnie's Squad. That should give Ronnie too much concern as they scored the most points in Week 1 on the backs of the strongest WR core in the league.

2. SINCERE's Team

SINCERE's Team climbs the rankings after a win against our pre-season #3 (TD Do You Love Me). Putting up the 2nd most points in Week 1 and no injuries SINCERE's Team looks like they have a strong season ahead of them.

3. ThatManAgain...

Even with a win we are dropping ThatManAgain.... down 2 spots as they only won by 1 point against our pre-season #11 (The 37th Chamber). It was a game that came down to the final drive of the Monday Night Game, as with 1 reception from Courtland Sutton, a few rushing yards from Javonte Williams or a made FG from Brandon McManus would have ensured the upset of the week. This was not the performance expected out of the defending champions.

4. Horsedick boy'z

HDB scored the 3rd most points in Week 1 and secured a win over division rival and drinking buddy Team_MAGA. HDB had a good performance and would have won against a majority of the league, but with potential injuries to two starters, we can't put them in the Top 3 yet.

5. SexySandwich

Scoring just below the league average, but having strong RB play is why we are moving SexySandwhich up to number 5. SS also gets a decisive win in Week 1 putting up 97.00 points to IFYD's 71.30.

6. Subject to Change

We like where we had Subject to Change last week, and we like where we have them this week. Squeaking out a win against an expansion team doesn't make us that confident with what's in store, but looking at STC's roster we think they will perform better going forward.

7. Julio Think You Are? I Am!

Julio Think You Are? I Am! was blown out by our #1 this week, Ronnie's Squad. Julio Think You Are? I Am! did not have a bad performance, putting up the 4th-most points in the league, but getting blown out by 30 points is not a good look.

8. TD Do You Love Me

A huge fall from grace, dropping down 5 spots  from last week, TD Do You Love Me sits at number 8. With only 1 player scoring double-digits, Patrick Mahomes putting up 44.90 points, TDDYLM will be looking for some production out of their other skill positions. With an injury to Dak Prescott (Shawn Brady), the WR1 on TDDYLM CeeDee Lamb is projected to see a dip in production until his return.

9. AbeFroman

Probably our biggest riser this week, AbeFrom, from #14 to #9. AbeFroman won by a very comfortable 10 points over Shawn Brady. Even starting a sub-optimal lineup and leaving some points on the bench, AbeFroman will have a tough game next week against #1 Ronnie's Squad.

10. The 37th Chamber

Rising up to the Top 10 (last week #11), The 37th Chamber almost took down the SBHL Champions, ThatManAgain.... This just proves The 37th Chamber will live and die by the Denver offense this year, as any positive play from 3 Denver player on the last drive of the Monday Night Game would sealed the victory for 37C.

11. BUE

Bue goes up one rank with their win over The Gold Standard. Leaving 35 points on the bench and securing a win is a strong case for why Bue was the expansion team with the highest projected number of points & wins.

12. Team_MAGA

Team_MAGA took a tough loss last week, losing by 45 points, dropping them down 3 spots to #12. There wasn't much TM could have done to change the outcome of Week 1, but a loss is a loss. Let's see if they can rebound in Week 2, as Team_MAGA's team on paper looks better than how they performed.

13. JonLegends

JonLegends gave Subject to Change a run for their money and almost stole a win in Week 1. The only thing JonLegends could have done to get a win, would have been to start Geno Smith against the Broncos instead of Flacco against the Ravens. That's a tough call, but it highlights JonLegend's lakc of reliable QB options.

14. Shawn Brady

Shawn Brady has proven why they have been in the bottom-half of the league for 3 years, with an injured QB and 3 WR's having abysmal production, Shawn Brady starts off the season with a loss. The silver lining for the team was top-of-the-league RB production coming from Saquon and  D'Andre Swift.

15. The Gold Standard

We had to drop The Gold Standard down to #15 as they put up the 2nd least amount of points and started off their season with a loss.  Reliable WR play was the saving grace for TGS and what they will need to rely on to get any wins this season.

16. I'll Fuck Your Dad

I'll Fuck Your Dad stays at #16 with a loss and the least amount of points scored in Week 1.
