At Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School in St. Louis, Williams scored 22 TDs as a senior and broke Ezekiel Elliott's state record in the 300meter hurdles
In 2019, Williams played in all 14 games at Ohio state as a reserve (6 rec., 112 yards, 1 TD)
In 2020, only started 6 of the 8 games played in 2020, and caught 9 rec. for 154 yards and 2 TDs. He was in a deep receiver rotation with Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave and Jaxon Smith-Njigba
In 2021, Williams transferred to Alabama and started, ranking 5th in the FBS with 1,572 receiving yards and tying for 3rd with 15 receiving TDs
